BRAGG + POLLY + KAYLA + MATT + STEVE

Mitch, Please are a five-piece Meanjin/Brisbane punk nerd band. A bit punk, a bit pop, a bit light and a bit heavy, plus lots of other bits all whipped up together to make a crunchy, creamy, salty, dang good time.

Having shared a stage with at least one other band on at least one occasion,
Mitch, Please are gonna get inside your earballs and bloody well stay there with some heckin’ catchy tunes chock-full of extremely relatable content.

Note: Mitch, Please does not actually contain any Mitches but we do know one Mitch and he might even be at some of our shows, if he’s not too busy on the day.

Mitch, Please make our music on Jagera and Turrbal land.

it’s like pop punk thrash mixed with the B-52’s

the tidiest, best invoice presentation I’ve ever received from a band

are all very dedicated to comfort

Morris Mentum Heaps Professional Official Music Video out now!

Hooley dooley a SECOND music video? And this one’s sure to be EVEN BETTER than the first, probably!

Featuring miniatures created by Miniature Magil, one of our very own Secret Menu Merch Items and possibly a strobe light, this video was lovingly crafted by our very own bass-plucker Bragg. Too much reading? DO SOME WATCHING:

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE

We didn’t just do what we did last time (I don’t know if you remember but we released a video for a song which was already heckin’ out in the world nearly a year WHO EVEN DOES THAT) well THIS time it’s a BRAND SPANKIN’ NEW TUNE!

For fans of geometry banger Polygon Pit and everyone who enjoys being yelled at about mathematics, Morris Mentum is a love song to quantum mechanics’ second most popular state variable, without which we would all be bloody well stuck, wouldn’t we?

So really we should have said BUT WAIT, THERE’S LESS because there is in fact LESS visual stimulation, ZERO moving pictures, just ONE single HEAPS GOOD (frankly very pink) picture and EXACTLY THE SAME amount of song BUT ONLY if you head on over to Bandcamp to purchase this here new tune, or stream it from the usual places, probably.

Bricks heaps cool film clip also still exists, in case you forgot

We picked the saddest song we have and paired it with silly visuals and slapstick humour for a rip-roaring cute time in the park near Bragg’s house. Filmed and edited by Brodie Ramsay of New Future, our Bricks video follows the Mitch, Please construction crew working together to build a VERY TRICKY item. Construction skills must be seen to be believed so just heckin’ watch it, Thanks.

Second EP Yes, Thanks out now!

Second EP Yes, Thanks is coming hot off the back of a delivery van in Queensland summer (phwoar that’s hot) with 6 ultra juicy tracks that you have definitely not already heard us play at shows a thousand times in the last 2 years. Using familiar elements of satire and double entendre akin to debut EP The Bin Collection, Yes, Thanks takes inspiration from relatable shortcomings such as puzzle-addiction, over-consumption of fizzy drinks and the hoarding of band shirts.

And this time we are getting PHYSICAL, with CDs and Records you can hold in your hot little hands that include our debut EP The Bin Collection for your listening delight. So dust off your Discman and plug in your earballs, Please, for Yes, Thanks.

The Power of the Trake single:
Kayla, Polly, Bragg, Steve and Matt are distraught to learn they have had their style stolen by Which Cheese? As Which Cheese?’s popularity rages amongst the kids, Mitch, Please find themselves increasingly pushed out. The Pleasels hope to regain their popularity with the invention of a new craze, `Traking’, but with a massive face-off planned at The Satin Raddish, will traking be enough to win back their reputation?

The Bin Collection:
Debut EP The Bin Collection comprises an arrangement of songs in genres ranging from pop to punk to thrash to rock with a generous splash of satire throughout. A lyrically eclectic blend of mockery and earnestness, The Bin Collection is an arguably compelling work filled with hard-hitting subject matter such as fizzy drinks and geometry.
